Hotels VIVA would like to express the gratitude of the company for all those people who are toiling ceaselessly in the fight against the pandemic we are currently enduring. There have been a host of initiatives revealing the tremendous solidarity of members of the public, while the efforts of healthcare workers, delivery drivers, shop assistants, cleaners, members of the security forces and other key workers have been outstanding.
This is why all of us at Hotels VIVA want to do our bit to help everyone in this struggle, from which we’re going to emerge more united and stronger than ever before. It is a contribution, conditioned by the state of our resources, that materialises in the following ways:
- 280 sheets for making masks, which have been delivered to Punts de Vida (Inca), as raw material to be cut up and sewn by their volunteers.
- 241 litres of disinfectant gel delivered to Ib-Salu, which will oversee its distribution.
- Monetary donation to the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, to contribute to the procurement of essential equipment.
- 2,000 plastic caps delivered to the health centres in Inca and Marratxí.
- Participation with Decoraciones Egea in the manufacture of overalls and masks for the healthcare workers at Inca Hospital.
- Distribution of batches of perishable food to the Social Services department of Alcúdia town hall and the employees of our hotels, which have had to close and where we hope to be welcoming our guests once again as soon as possible.
On the part of Hotels VIVA it only remains for us to wish a speedy recovery to all those who have been affected and hope that infections are brought under control as quickly as possible, partaking in the fundamental principle that health should always take priority over any economic consideration.
At Hotels VIVA we are making the most of the standstill to ensure that the sanitary safeguards at our establishments are even stronger, with information for our guests and numerous initiatives in terms of hygiene, safety and risk prevention at all our facilities, enabling our hotels to receive, as soon as possible and with the utmost standards of safety, all the travellers who have had to cancel their journeys.
