What can you see in Mallorca in 4 days? This question has brought you here to our blog, and the answer will take you to paradise! Believe us, you won't be able to resist!
Read on and discover the best ways to savour more than just a taste of all that Mallorca has to offer you.
Our island has so much to offer: paradise coves, charming villages, incredible gastronomy, dreamlike mountain landscapes, unmissable water and cultural activities... There’s so much for a tourist to see, and it’s impossible to see Mallorca in all its splendour in less than a week. But what if you did only have 4 days available? What should you see and do?
Plan your itinerary well to get the most out of your stay. Enjoying Mallorca for a few days is well worth it and you can see a lot in a short time. And, if you're looking for ideas, then here are some suggestions for activities and guided tours.
The Mallorcan capital is undoubtedly a must-see, and Palma is a truly charming city, with its old quarters full of history and attractions.
Although your main reason for visiting the island may be its beaches, there are countless unique places to visit, among which we would like to mention Mallorca Cathedral, the Almudaina Royal Palace, Bellver Castle, the promenade, the Jewish Quarter and Santa Catalina Market.
Another of the most beautiful places to see in Mallorca in 4 days is Valldemossa, a village in the interior of the island nestled in the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range.
This town is just 17 kilometres from the capital, and its narrow cobbled streets are typical of a medieval village. So, as well as getting carried away by its charm, we are sure you would love to visit the Frederic Chopin Museum or the Royal Carthusian Monastery of Valldemossa, to name but two examples.
The Serra de Tramuntana offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy Mallorca from on high, especially for trekking enthusiasts. There are a wide variety of hiking routes in the mountain range, which all give you magnificent views of the Mediterranean island.
This vast mountain range, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, descends and runs for some 90 kilometres along the coast.
Another of Mallorca’s natural wonders are, without a doubt, the Coves del Drach - one of the most popular and touristy places to visit on the island. And, when you see them, you’ll know why!
We’re talking here about a range of caves formed by marine erosion over millions of years, housing one of the largest lakes of its kind in the world, Lake Martel.
We highly recommend that you visit them and wonder at the incredible stalactite and stalagmite formations.
It’s almost impossible to choose just one beach or cove from the wide range on offer in Mallorca, but today we’ll make a special mention of Cala Mondragó, located in the Natural Park it’s named after.
It’s a protected area made up of spectacular coves with turquoise waters and white sand, with a lush forest that you’ll love to explore.
In addition to the luxury of being able to relax and admire these landscapes from this beautiful beach, you’ll find a selection of hiking routes in the Mondragó Natural Park to enjoy the island's nature from a different perspective.
We couldn’t finish our guide to places to see in Mallorca in 4 days without telling you about Sóller, one of the most beautiful, well-known, and popular villages on the island.
In many ways it’s similar to Valldemossa, as it’s located in the interior of Mallorca and boasts a well-kept medieval style. However, it’s better known for other peculiarities such as its old orange electric tram, which will take you to the Puerto de Sóller or to Palma on a unique journey through the Serra de Tramuntana.
Its picturesque streets and traditional seafood dishes, along with its splendid seafront atmosphere, will truly capture your heart.
