Have you discovered the quietest beaches in Mallorca? Holidays are all about rest, leisure, free time, enjoyment, new experiences... and also quietness!
That's why here at Hotels VIVA we've compiled a list of the quietest coves and beaches in Mallorca.
Some are real gems, hidden treasures that Mallorcans even try to keep secret!
Others are difficult to access or with few visitors. But, if you make the effort to get there, it's certainly worth it! You can enjoy unspoilt beaches, with no large buildings to stand between you and nature.
Caló des Màrmols is one of the few unspoilt coves left on the eastern side of the island.
There are two ways to reach it. You can take a sailing boat or normal boat, or you could opt for a route on foot of more or less one hour from Cap de Ses Salines.
At the end of the route, you'll find yourself in a true paradise with limestone cliffs and warm, clear waters.
Cala S'Amarador Cove is another of those idyllic and peaceful places you can visit while on holiday in Mallorca.
This small cove is located in the Mondragó Natural Park, in the south of the island, and it's known for its Mediterranean vegetation and Neptune grass meadows.
S'Amarador is one of the quietest coves in the whole of Mallorca.
It has a large pine grove that offers some shade and a very gentle sloping access to the water, which makes it ideal for a relaxing day at the beach with the family.
If you like quiet beaches, then the Mallorcan town of Manacor has a lot to offer you.
Nestled on the east coast, near Calas de Mallorca, you can access it by boat, by bike, or on foot.
Varques Cove stands out both for its fine, white sand and for its peaceful atmosphere, which is perfect if you're trying to escape from the crowds.
This unspoilt cove also has one of the largest collections of underwater caves in Europe, and it's a good option if you fancy combining relaxing days on the beach with activities such as scuba diving or snorkelling.
Formentor beach is a natural paradise located at the northernmost point of the island, close to the Port of Pollença and the famous Hotel Formentor.
Its picture-postcard landscapes and views of the bay of Pollença have earned this Mallorcan beach international recognition.
Formentor beach also has a pine forest nearby and is divided into three areas (L'espigó, La Veranda, and Platjamar) which all guarantee tranquillity and quietness.
The beach of Sa Canova is a large stretch of sand in the bay of Alcúdia, located between the villages of Son Serra de Marina and Colonia de Santa Pere, on the northeast coast of the island.
This quiet family beach is known for its fine white sand.
It's also known for the gently sloping access into its waters, which are brightly coloured due to the beautiful tones of its seabed.
What's more, as it's right in the middle of the bay, it sometimes has a gentle swell that's perfect for certain water sports.
Es Trenc is one of the longest beaches in Mallorca and also one of the most idyllic on the whole island, which is why we just had to include in it our special selection of the quietest beaches in Mallorca.
Es Trenc beach (known as Platja d'es Trenc) is located in the south, right between the villages of Sa Rapita and Colonia Sant Jordi.
Formed by a combination of dunes, pine groves, scrubland, salt marshes and tamarind trees, it forms part of the natural area of the Es Salobrar marshland, a protected area of more than 1,500 hectares, and has an area for sun loungers.
With very few waves and crystal clear waters, it's a real oasis of peace to unwind in during your stay with us in Mallorca.
