Una de las rutas más famosas en Mallorca es el Torrent de Pareis, un camino que te dará la oportunidad de seguir el trayecto de un torrente que recorre la Serra de Tramuntana hasta llegar a la plata. No es una ruta sencilla y de hecho necesitarás cierta experiencia en senderismo para realizarla, pero te llevará desde las profundidades de la montaña hasta la singularidad y belleza de la playa de Sa Calobra. Puedes hacer este recorrido entre mayo y octubre y la fecha perfecta para realizarlo es aproximadamente una semana después de que haya llovido en la zona.
Pero el Torrent de Pareis no es la única ruta que puedes hacer para descubrir la magia de la Serra de Tramuntana. ¿Por qué no ir desde Sant Elm a La Trapa? En este camino podrás parar a maravillarse con la belleza de Sa Dragonera, un islote que se encuentra frente a la costa y a sólo unos minutos del hotel Viva Rey Don Jaime, muy cercano a diferentes caminos que te sorprenderán.
Si prefieres hacer un recorrido cerca de la playa puedes ir desde Can Picafort a Son Real en poco más de dos horas y media. Caminando por la arena blanca te encontrarás con restos históricos y paisajes excepcionales que enseguida se convertirán en recuerdos inolvidables. Pero estas tres propuestas son sólo una muestra de las excursiones que puedes hacer mientras te alojas en Mallorca: también puedes ir desde Deià a Sóller y visitar estos dos pueblos llenos de encanto, caminar hacia la playa del Coll Baix mientras observas la bahía de Alcúdia o recorrer el Camí des Correu, un antiguo sendero que une Esporles y Banyalbufar desde el siglo XV.

Hiking in Mallorca

One of the most famous journeys in Mallorca is hiking through the Torrent de Pareis. It gives you the chance to walk through a torrent that goes along the Serra de Tramuntana until it gets to the beach. It is not an easy trip, you must have some experience in hiking to do it, but it will take you from the depth of the mountains to the unique wonder of Sa Calobra beach. You can do this trip between May and October and the perfect date is a week after it has rained in the area.
But the Torrent de Pareis is not the only route you can take to discover the Serra de Tramuntana’s magic. Why not going from Sant Elm to La Trapa? By taking this route you’ll be able to stop and marvel with Sa Dragonera, a small islet that’s really close to the shore and to Viva Rey Don Jaime, a hotel located near many roads and paths that will surprise you.
And if you prefer a tour by the beach you can go from Can Picafort to Son Real in about two hours and a half. By the white sand you’ll discover historical remains and great landscapes that will soon become an unforgettable memory.
