Si estás en Mallorca debes invertir un día en conocer este lugar. Es un espectáculo natural: bosque, acantilados y mar reunidos en el mismo sitio para ofrecerte un cara a cara con la naturaleza de los que no ocurren muchas veces en la vida.
Sa Calobra se encuentra en el municipio de Escorca. Puedes llegar por carretera (PM-214-1) a la que puedes acceder desde Sóller o desde Lluc, o por mar, cogiendo uno de los barcos turísticos que salen a diario desde Puerto de Sóller.
Si elegís opción carretera mucho cuidado. Se trata de una carretera muy estrecha con curvas. Una de ellas muy peligrosa conocida como ‘el nudo de corbata’. Además, hay muchos autocares haciendo esta ruta y maniobrar con ellos puede ser algo complicado.
La playa de la Calobra es espectacular. Abrigada por dos grandes acantilados ofrece un color turquesa digno del paraíso.
Además, alrededor de la playa hay varios restaurantes y pequeños negocios de recuerdos y souvenirs.
Pero lo realmente interesante de este lugar es la desembocadura del Torrent de Pareis. Des de la playa hay un paseo peatonal que transcurre junto a dos acantilados y que, tras atravesar un túnel muy estrecho, os llevará a la desembocadura del torrente.
Si vuestra visita coincide con el mes de agosto atentos. Siempre uno de sus fines de semana hay un concierto con una gran repercusión entre los isleños. La acústica es espectacular y el entorno habla por sí solo…

SA CALOBRA, A CINEMA EXCURSION
If you are in Mallorca you must spend one day in this place out. It is a natural spectacle: forest, cliffs and sea together in one place to give a face to face with the nature. It does not happen many times in life.
Sa Calobra is located in the municipality of Escorca. You can reach by road (PM-214-1) to which you can access from Sóller or from Lluc, or by sea, taking one of the tourist boats that daily depart from Puerto de Sóller.
If you choose road please be careful. This is a very narrow road with curves. There is one of them so dangerous that is known as 'tie knot'. In addition, there are many buses doing this route and to maneuver with them can be really tricky.
Sa Calobra beach is spectacular. Sheltered by two large cliffs offers a worthy turquoise paradise.In addition, around the beach there are several restaurants and small souvenir shops.
But the really interesting thing about this place is the mouth of the Torrent de Pareis. From the beach there is a pedestrian promenade that runs along two cliffs and, after passing through a narrow tunnel will take you to the mouth of the stream.
