There is one place that can’t be missed, no matter when, why or who with you visit Mallorca: Valldemossa. It might be one of the most charming towns in the Mediterranean with its ancient buildings, the beautiful Cartoixa among them, and an environment that looks like a fairy tale scenery. It’s also one of the most famous villages in Mallorca for it has been home of several artists as the writer George Sand and the great musician Frederic Chopin. There is nothing like taking a walk through its streets to feel like you’re really on a holiday.
But where is your holiday taking place? In Mallorca. And what is one of the most typical meals in Mallorca these dates? The fritomallorquín. This really unique meal, with its fennel taste, is made with lamb, potatoes and vegetables that are cut in really small pieces and cooked all together in a casserole.
