Mallorca is synonymous of the sea breeze, the port, and of course the beach. Choosing which the best beaches in Majorca is most definitely not an easy task, as there are so many of them and the great thing is, the majority are stunning. Crystal-clear water, dreamy coves and endless services. Make a note of our selection and enjoy!
Many of Mallorca’s beaches are dominated by secluded coves, which sometimes become genuine, private beaches. That’s the case with Cales de Betlem, next to Artà, as it’s made up of numerous small coves which are quiet and tranquil. So, if you’re looking for a peaceful spot to rest, this is the place for you.
In addition to going for a dip, this Northern area of Mallorca also offers a spectacular landscape as it’s been declared a Natural Monument where we can lose ourselves exploring. You can go hiking (with specialist walkers) and take a dip in the two shingle coves (Sa Calobra and Torres de Pareis, a protected natural area). The part which stands out the most is the fact that the movement of the water has sculpted a valley.
This is one of the best-known coves and it simply cannot be missed out. This cove has been declared a Natural Area of Special Interest and its turquoise waters and stunning dunes make it a magical location.

Those who have visited this beach, always come back. This cove is nestled between cliffs and draws attention as it’s a very narrow beach. Although it’s very busy during high season, there are many unspoiled coves which are definitely worth the visit. If you like to have everything nearby, this is the place for you as it’s equipped with all the services you could ask for: bar, sun loungers, showers…
Once in a while, we find some true, natural gems among the beaches in Mallorca. This cove is lesser-known, small, secluded and paradisiac. It’s surrounded by a native forest and tends to be quite hidden, so it’s not the easiest to find. However, if you enjoy a bit of adventure and discovering hidden treasures, this cove is 100% recommended.
This beach is located in a relatively unknown, unspoiled area and is paradise for surfers. You can also enjoy other water sports such as kitesurfing or windsurfing.
You don’t need to travel far to find paradise. It’s closer than you think, as Mallorca is home to unspoiled beaches such as Es Trenc, which also gives you the opportunity to see various species of migratory birds. Let yourself be seduced by its turquoise water and dunes and enjoy a refreshing drink whilst disconnecting from the world. It’s equipped with various services.
Leaving the idea of being alone and somewhat wild behind, we’re going to delve into the glamourous side of the island of Mallorca. This is a well-known beach located on the main coastal port in the area. It has plenty of services as it’s a bustling tourist area, but that doesn’t mean it misses out on the tranquillity emanated by the area.
Close to the Playa de Es Trenc, Ses Covetes beach is spectacular. It’s one of the best preserved beaches on the island of Mallorca. It’s particularly special thanks to its turquoise waters and white sand and despite being in a tourist area, it’s rather quiet.
