It’s hard to pick the best Mallorca beaches as it has so many… and they’re amazing!!!

Speaking of which, Mallorca, one of the global landmark tourist destinations for sun and beaches, has 32 blue flag beaches this year!

The blue flag is an award and a seal of quality given to beaches which fit certain criteria of excellence, quality and safety.

If you enjoy taking a dip, you can’t miss out on the crystalline waters and top-quality beaches that Mallorca has to offer this year.

We’ll give you a few beach options where you can keep the heat at bay this summer. Not only are they stunning, they’re also top quality: some of the best Mallorca beaches. Let’s jump right in!

Cala Mesquida

Cala Mesquida is one of the most peaceful spots in Mallorca. It’s located 7km from Capdepera on the far east of the island. Cala Mesquida was declared a Natural Area of Special Interest by the Parliament of the Balearic Islands in 1991, so it’s definitely of environmental interest. This 300m-long beach is surrounded by rocks, plenty of sand dunes, pine trees…You’ll feel like you’re at one with nature!

Playa de Muro

Playa de Muro is Mallorca’s most extensive sandy beach no more and no less than 6km long!

It’s located in the town of Muro, next to Alcudia, on the North-eastern coast of the island. Playa de Muro is a very popular family beach thanks to its easy access, restaurants, facilities right on the beach, activities for kids, and the shallow waters! You’ve got to walk pretty far out before it gets deep. Goodbye danger, hello fun.

Cala Agulla

Cala Agulla is a gorgeous beach surrounded by pine trees and mountains, located in Capdepera, around 80km from Palma. Its light blue waters are clear, making it the perfect place to swim and enjoy water sports. You’ll love it!

Formentor

In the peninsula of Formentor you can find…*drum roll*… “Cala Formentor”, a beautiful but narrow beach, surrounded by lush pine forests with white sand and clear waters – you’ll be in paradise! It’s the perfect place for diving or just for grabbing some flippers and snorkelling goggles. Now you’re here, you can’t miss out on the astounding cliffs of Cabo de Formentor. A magical place, one of the best-preserved on the island and with plenty of history to be discovered.

Cala Molins

Cala Molins is located around 10km from Pollença, close to Port de Pollença to the North west of Mallorca.

Its turquoise waters are clear and the sand is soft! At 50m wide, it’s only a small beach. However, you won’t miss anything as it’s got all the facilities you could possibly need.

This summer, enjoy the beach – enjoy Mallorca!
