These days, given the circumstances, a good holiday is needed more than ever; however, we know that the safety, prevention and cleanliness measures are key to enabling you to enjoy your break to the full. This is why we’ve implemented our Care & Safety by VIVA programme, endorsed by SGS International Certification Services S.A.U.; this is a company of proven international renown, with which we have undertaken specific audits in order to verify the new protocols prior to the opening of the hotels and to strengthen the existing ones.

We’ve put plenty of energy, enthusiasm and effort into getting our hotels ready. And we’ve succeeded! Comfortably exceeding all the health recommendations thanks to the hygiene and prevention plan that we’re running in all our hotels in Mallorca.

What’s more, for the more safety-conscious we offer the aparthotel format at the VIVA Cala Mesquida Resort & Spa hotel, which opens on 7 July, the VIVA Blue & Spa hotel, open from 3 July and the VIVA Suites +16, open from 24 July. At our aparthotels you’ll enjoy all the advantages, facilities and services offered by a hotel, plus the independence of having your own apartment. You’ll even find that within our hotels they have their own supermarket, in case you want to organise a picnic on the beach.

The aparthotel holiday format facilitates independence and privacy. We have striven to offer the strictest hygiene safeguards. We have implemented a specially-adapted restaurant service:

• Two sittings have been established with capacity reduced to 50%; only guests staying in the same room (max. five people) may sit together.
• Servings in the cold buffet are laid out individually.
• We are maximising the show cooking service and the attended buffet.
• Installation of screens at the front of the buffet.

In addition:

• We’re encouraging electronic payments within the hotel.
• We’ve digitalised the information processes to favour contactless transactions.
• Our establishments are constantly being deep-cleaned and disinfected.
• We conduct health checks on workers and visitors entering the hotel.
• Ongoing training of our employees and awareness-raising among all our workers in terms of prevention related to the health alert.
